HEMC
Product Description :
Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose (HEMC) is made from highly pure cotton-cellulose by reaction of etherification under alkaline conditions. It is excellent in water solubility, water retention, surface activity, thickening, film formation, adhesion, suspension, and high-temperature resistance, etc. It could be soluble in water to form a transparent solution and widely used in construction and building material, dry mix mortar industry.
Product Properties :
❶ Construction: Used as a thickening agent and water retention agent for products to improve work ability and strength, reduce cracking and shrinkage.
❷ Personal care: Thickeners and stabilizers for various personal care products to enhance product ductility and foaming properties.
❸ Paints and coatings: Used as thickeners, stabilizers and film-forming agents to improve viscosity and flow of products, and enhance adhesion and durability of coatings.
❹ Adhesives and sealants: Used as a thickener and water retention agent to provide better work ability and adhesion properties for products.
