Hydroxypropyl Starch Ether (HPS) is a starch-based additive designed for dry mortars in the construction industry, imparting unique properties to cement and gypsum-based products.
HPS and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) are used together, which can achieve better thickening effects, better crack resistance, and improved workability. By adding starch ether, Can significantly reduce the cost of mortar formulation.
