Silicone Hydrophobic Powder
Product Description :
Silicone Hydrophobic Powder uses high-tech carrier and sustained-release technology to enable the active substance to be released promptly when exposed to water and form hydrophobic protection after the substrate is cured. As a hydrophobic additive, it can be used in dry-mix mortar systems made of cement and minerals to prevent the capillaries/pores in the material from absorbing water, greatly reducing the water absorption rate of the base material, and providing the material with excellent hydrophobic properties. It is especially suitable for caulking, waterproof mortar, plastering mortar and decorative mortar for exterior wall insulation systems.
Product Properties :
○ High activity and good dispersion
○ Provides overall waterproofing of the material and does not form a film on the surface of the substrate
○ Good fluidity and dispersion properties in dry powder
○ Easy to disperse in water, does not affect the wetting, mixing and working performance of dry powder
○ It has the properties of inhibiting the efflorescence of the base material and enhancing the freeze-thaw resistance of the base material, which is helpful for the base material to maintain its beauty and color.
○ High weather resistance and UV resistance, providing long-term hydrophobic protection for the substrate without weakening the strength of the substrate
